Nepal Telecom, a government-owned telecommunications company, has decided to issue SIM cards with special facilities to students who have passed SEE. The company has unveiled the new offer to provide data, voice, and SMS for 30 days every day as a gift and recharge for one year.
According to the company, students will receive 100 MB of data, 10 minutes of voice and five SMS every day for 30 days after purchasing the new SIM. Named the Everyday Gift, the package will feature a total of 3 GB of data, 300 minutes of talk time (Telecom-Telecom) and 150 SMS.
In addition, every recharge above Rs 50 will get 500 MB data, 50 minutes talk time and 50 SMS for one year. Students who are currently using Telecom’s SIM can also avail the facility of Everyday Gift, said Telecom.
To get a new SIM with Telecom’s reward, you have to contact the nearest telecom office. For that, it is necessary to have the ID card, photo and identity card of the concerned student or parent along with the SEE exam.
To activate Telecom’s offer on the SIM you already have, you have to dial * 1600 # and follow the instructions. The company will also provide its education package for online classes to students who have passed SEE.
